Job Summary
AmeriLife Benefits is seeking a talented Part-Time Remote Writer, with a preference for candidates located in the Kansas City area. This position is ideal for someone who excels in a corporate writing environment, offering the flexibility of remote work with the option of on-site collaboration and in-person meetings for local candidates. The role involves creating engaging content for marketing campaigns, benefits enrollment communications, blog posts, social media, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Development: Write compelling content for various platforms, including marketing campaigns, benefits communications, blogs, and social media.
- On-Site Collaboration: For local candidates, participate in in-person meetings and have the opportunity to work on-site, fostering closer team collaboration and engagement in company culture.
- Corporate Writing Experience: Utilize skills in corporate writing to produce professional, brand-aligned content.
- Editing and Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit content to ensure it meets AmeriLife Benefits’ standards and style guidelines.
- Project Management: Handle multiple content projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven track record in a corporate writing environment, with a portfolio that includes diverse content types.
- Strong grasp of content marketing, SEO, and corporate communication strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in WordPress, Elementor Pro, and other digital content tools.
- Excellent research and organizational skills; adept at working independently and collaboratively.
- Local candidates must be willing to attend in-person meetings and work on-site as needed.
Working Hours
Part-time; flexible hours with the expectation to meet deadlines and participate in scheduled meetings (virtual and in-person).
