On Sunday, June 26th, 2022 Chicken N Pickle of overland Park in Kansas City hosted the 1st annual Fore the Kids Foundation Pickleball Tournament and many of our AmeriLife Benefits employees signed up to participate.
According to AmeriLife Benefits employee Robert Floyd, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing Operations – tournament play started out with everyone participating in a round robin event. Only those who won the round robin then proceeded to play in the final elimination rounds.
Robert participated in the mixed doubles round robin event with his partner and although they didn’t take home a medal, Robert said that they had a great time getting to know the other players and participating in their first ever pickleball tournament.
